BUZZ RICKSON'S Type DECK ZIP ALPACA AND WOOL PILE LINING NAVY DEPARTMENT BR15759 Size:40 and the nylon N 3 was OR 7367 GR Size w36 Color:Dark Selvage Jeans(ノンセルビッジ) the paint gradually peels and the nylon N 3 was adopted in 1949 ハワイアンシャツの全盛期を築き上げたブランドの中で、異色かつ大きな成功も収めたとして有名なのが、インド系移民のＧ・Ｊ・ワットムルが1913年に創業したイースト・インディア・ストアが展開していたワットムルス。同ブランドの最大の功績は、トロピカル柄のアロハシャツをいち早く発表したことで、それを支えたのが初期のテキスタイルデザイナー、エルシー・ダース。彼女はオレゴン生まれのデンマーク系アメリカ人で、ワット・ムルスに嫁いだ姉を訪ねてハワイに渡り、気候の良さが気に入って移住を決意。最初はイースト・インディア・ストアのウィンドウ・デコレーターをしていたが、‘36年からからデザイン活動を始め、’37年には竹やブレッドフルーツ、フラガールといったそれまでにない斬新なハワイ柄の生地を完成させた。
